McGuffey Youth Basketball

Clearance Information

In accordance with Pennsylvania laws, McG Youth Basketball requires that all volunteers pass a background check in order to participate as a volunteer in the organization. Each coach and assistant coach must have clearances completed and on file with the McG Youth Basketball organization before scheduling practices.

The following clearances are needed and are FREE if applying as a volunteer:

PA Criminal Record Clearance
PA Child Abuse History Clearance
McG Youth Basketball Affidavit (if you have lived in PA for the past 10 years consecutively)

The following clearance requires a fee even if applying as a volunteer:

FBI Fingerprint Clearance (If volunteer has not lived in PA for the last 10 years consecutively. Code to use is 1KG6XN.)
